Here at Filas Lions Den, We Love Hearing What People Have to Say Once They Take One of Our Filas Home
|
Dear Luis,
Just a note to let you know how happy we are with our new brindle female. I was a little hesitant about getting two puppies but we are so glad we did.
She is a little smaller than the male but is already starting to be the boss! They are a great team. I will send you a picture and maybe you could post it on your web site.
If anyone is considering a Fila I highly recommend getting two as they are great companions for one another and they are still totally devoted to their human family. They are crate trained and yesterday I came in to fine the two dogs and my daughter all in the crate together.
All the best, Phyllis Patterson

We really appreciate getting regular updates on how our puppies are doing with their new families, like this one.
Hi Luis & Julie
Hope things are well with you and your family. I see on your website you have more puppies how exciting! We just love Hank
he's a great dog,if we didn't have our labs we would get another Fila and just have the two. He gets his 16 week shot on
10/1/09. We will be going for walks off the property as soon as the vet says it's ok. He loves the mud & water and jumps
and runs in it, he gets hosed down every other day since he has decided that our bed is his LOL. We never did crate train him
(my bad) I like him sleeping with us, not sure how that's going to work when he is full grown? He's growing fast, we
weighted him this morning he's 48 lbs, his feet are bigger that my chocolate lab and he is a big dog! Wanted to let you know
we think of you guys. Look forward to seeing the new pups on your website, take care will update soon.
Thanks again,
Brenda
Here are some awesome pictures of Hank and a letter from Brenda.
Hi Luis,
Here are some pictures from today, I tried to get him when he was rubbing in the trees but he wouldn't stay still. The
rubbing in the trees is a Fila thing, Luke used to stand in the trees and rub his body on the branches and Hank does the
same thing. WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH! I weighed him today he's 57 lbs and growing everyday. He is learning fast and
getting lots of exercise. He is wore out right now and snoring in his bed.
I'll update more soon. And please feel free to call anytime to see how he is doing!

Here are some new pictures from Brenda of her newest baby Hannah, and a couple shots of Hank.
Here's an e-mail from Brenda about her big boy Hank, along with some handsome pictures! 2/28/10
Hi Luis,
I don't know if Mike measured him right? When I measured him I saw 28 inches, my son says 29? It's very hard to get him to hold
still and hold a tape measure, he wants to keep moving away.
Anyway it doesn't matter he is one BEAUTIFUL dog! We love him very much and he's my best buddy. My son Dylan took a picture
of him standing up on me it's kinda blurry but it might give you an idea of his size, I'm 5 .6 he's a big dog. Look forward to talking to
you soon.

Here's an e-mail and pictures from Brenda on behalf of herself, Della and Greg with regards to the Bark for Life walk! Along with some
pictures of Hank from when they came to pick up their new pup! 4/29/10
Hi Luis,
Here are the pictures from the Bark for Life event held on April 17, 2010 in Oakdale, Calfiornia.
The event was hosted by the Believing For A Cure Team/ Relay for Life. There were an estimated 250 people and 75 dogs in
attendance at the event staged at Shire Park. The event was designed for people and their dogs to come together to raise funds for the
American Society's Relay for Life in a pet-friendly environment. With donations of $4000 from the Bark for Life event and the Relay
for Life walk a total of $223,000 was raised. We were very proud to show off our hansome dogs and introduce the breed. We were
stopped numerous times by people asking us what kind of dogs they were and how georgeous they are.
We all had a great day and the dogs were fantastic!
Thank you again for your donation and support for such a great cause.
Brenda, Della & Greg

Luis,
Once again my wife and I would like to say thank you for
blessing us with our new pup. We decided to name him "Enzo"
which is Italian and old German for "home-ruler"! Enzo is
everything we expected and more. He fits the description of a
Fila perfectly. Although, Enzo has been a member of our family
for a short time, he has a very strong bond and showing signs of
a true "FILA" temperment. Just the other day a salesman came
to the door and before he could start his sales pitch, I had ask to
leave my property because Enzo was trying his best to get
through the door along with his very deep loud bark. Thank
you again for the new addition to our family. We will keep you
updated with pics of "Enzo"!

Hello Luis!
Just a note to let you know how my Carlos is doing! He is
FANTASTIC!! Extremely loving, he walks on 3 legs because one paw
is literally around my ankle at all times! I could not have asked for a
more loving and devoted friend. I thank you from the bottom of my
heart for this wonderful companion. And...he is already showing strong
temperment, very protective of me to strangers, very confident and
secure. NEVER leaves my side for a second, I am tripping on him, and
loving it. Thanks for this opportunity to have "The best of the best"...
you absolutely have perfected what this wonderful breed is meant to
be, bar none! Your devotion to excellence of the Fila shows through
and through!
Love your friends, Roberta and "Carlos"
"I had to actually get off the deck to get these, Carlos is SO attached to me, my
son Bobby had to stay on the deck, and keep distracting him from me, to get
these shots, he is TOTALLY devoted to me, cant stand me being 5 feet from me,
LOVE IT!!!!!! But, really hard to get pictures of him, lol"
